Protection Taper Candles

Protection features a set of two black taper candles decorated with clove, black peppercorn, vervain, and hyssop.

Clove: Frequently used to invite protection and to purify. When burned it can stop people from gossiping about you and banish negative energies.

Black peppercorn: Used to protect from evil eye and ward off evil spirits. A powerful tool in protection and banishing magic. Can also be used to amplify intentions and accelerate spells.

Vervain: A powerful protective herb that repels evil spirits and creates a protective barrier. Can be used to ward off other witches spells and curses. Also associated with cleansing and enhancing abilities. 

Hyssop: Commonly used for its cleansing properties and its ability to drive away negative influences. Creates a protective barrier against harmful intent and wards off evil eye. Burned it purifies your space and removes bad spirits.

Taper candles are best for long, in depth spell work and candles should be allowed to burn out completely to seal your spell if possible. In some practices candles can be snuffed or blown out - trust your intuition, do your own research, and practice however you see fit - there are no set rules in witch craft. Practice fire safety whenever using herbs and candles together - salt and smothering are the most effective ways to put out a candle fire that has become out of control.
