Bachelors Button: In medieval times herbalists used these flowers as an astringent, particularly to aid in eye related ailments. In spell work they are said to raise intuition and self acceptance as well as offer protective and healing energies.

Taper candles are best for long, in depth spell work and candles should be allowed to burn out completely to seal your spell if possible.
